COVID-19 Policy and Process Updates

COVID-19 Policy Suspension - Updated as of July 19, 2023

Effective immediately, we have suspended SEO’s COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for team members, participants, and volunteers. This decision does not come lightly, and we still strongly believe in the effectiveness of vaccines and in promoting the health and safety of our community. The Safety Committee will continue to monitor local and federal regulations regarding COVID-19, but we don't anticipate any immediate changes in the near future.

To reiterate our safety reminders:

• If you are experiencing symptoms of any communicable disease, you can request to, or your manager can require that you, work remotely or take PTO if unable to work.
• If you test positive for COVID-19, please stay home for at least five days (per CDC guidelines), and return only when your symptoms are gone. Review the Return to In-Person Activity document for additional guidance.
• If you test positive for COVID-19 and you live in California, please notify covid-19@seo-usa.org due to the contact tracing mandate that's still in effect.
